Memorial Day 2009. Ben and I always love this day, especially here in Hailey where they put on a special Memorial Day program at the local cemetery. We are grateful for the opportunity it provides us to teach our kids respect for our soldiers, our flag, and our country.
Our family has a great history of solders. Both of Ben's grandfathers were in the military (one was on the wrong side--not his fault--its where he was born) and both of my grandfathers and my grandmother were. I just got caught up on some of your posts and they were really fun to read. Who came up with Sawtooth United? For some reason it makes me laugh! Glad you guys had a great Memorial Day and it's way neat to honor your ancestors who served our country...even if it was the wrong side for one of them!
