My Little Boy is 4

Birthday: March 19, 2009
My fish-dancin' comedian turned 4 while we were in Salt Lake
for Spring Break

I know it such a cliche that time flies...but it is true
Bryce was born in Gallup, New Mexico and blessed in the
Navajo, Window Rock, AZ Ward
Blessing Day 2005
Trailer living in Bayfield, CO 2006
My little painter 2006

Jeeping & Camping in Idaho 2007
Bryce and his best friend...
yellow blanket from Nana...
He often gets "blanket teeth"...
interpreted means "I bite so hard on my blanket
I get yarn stuck in my teeth and need you to get it out"

For months, he has asked for a "Lightning McQueen
and fishing rod birthday."
Solved both with this cars fishing rod.
Uncle Dave got him a scooter. Nana took him shoe shopping for new
cowboy boots and tennis shoes. He knows exactly what he wants
when it comes to shoes and clothes. That can be bad and good.
We love you Bryson. You bring us so much happiness and laughter.

Lucky to be ALIVE

Duke
(not officially a picture of the real Duke...
but the same breed as the Mastiff shown below)
vs. Atlas
(An official picture of my 5 lb mini pinscher)

Yes. They met. And it wasn't pretty.

Duke is my parent's next door neighbor Ned Seigfried's dog

(of Seigfried & Jensen Law firm for those of you from Utah)

And he doesn't like other dogs. Especially little ones.

Atlas was pulled from Duke's mouth by my hero sister-in-law Shae while I was attempting to wrestle the Mastiff to the ground.

Why was it just Shae and I? I don't know. Why don't you ask Ben, my brother AND my dad who were standing there watching the whole thing.

Yes, Atlas is ok. Luckily we retrieved him from the jaws of death before skin could be broken...but he was covered in nice Mastiff slobber.

My mess-makin' beggar...

Yes, my Anna has discovered how fun it is...
to pull everything off any shelf she can find...
and rip up and attempt to eat as much paper as she can.

She has also learned, that if someone is at the table eating...

She can go beg

as if I never feed her...

For such a tiny thing,

she can sure eat!

Truckin' to Eternity

I've got lots of fun posts to do this week. Fun for me, anyway! The first is to show off the boys CTR Mack Truck. The primary planned a fun activity Saturday where the kids had to bring a cardboard car and go to different "car" stations: a tire shop, a car wash, a map store, etc. They ended up at the drive-in movie with popcorn and treats.

I found a refrigerator box, so my husband and the boys
put their heads together and came up with this Mack truck & trailer.
Their cousin Ian was here with his dad for the weekend, so he got to join in the fun...and the trailer provided a spot for all 3 boys.

The truck was supposed to be red, at the request of Colton,
but it wouldn't hide the box lettering...so we got gray instead
with some red accents thanks to Uncle Dave
They boys say THANKS DAD! for building such a cool truck.
He worked so hard on it 3 nights last week.

I'm sure the boys will play with it until it becomes trash for the fire
